1-Booking Waiver

Please check the attached information upon receipt and verify all information is correct. Gourmet Voyages will not be responsible for omissions or errors if not brought to my attention immediately. Payment must be received by the due date to avoid vendor cancellation.

2-Documentations

U.S. citizens travelling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at https://travel.state.gov for further information. Immunizations may also be required. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are travelling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens."

3-Travel Waiver

Gourmet Voyages offers retail travel services to customers, which are provided by separate and independent vendors of travel services. Gourmet Voyages does not operate, control, or otherwise provide the services of the independent travel vendors. Hence, customer agrees that Gourmet Voyages acts only as agent for the client in acquiring transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing and other privileges, or services for the clients’ benefit, and on the express condition that Gourmet Voyages shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, omission or irregularity which may occur or be occasioned, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith."

4-Privacy policy

<p>Gourmet Voyages is a sole proprietor travel agency hosted by Coastline Travel Advisors located Garden Grove, CA, USA. We provide travel services which required the collection of your personal data. Gourmet Voyages respects your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we collect about individuals (including customers, Member Agency travel advisors, Preferred Supplier representatives, vendor and consultant representatives), how we may use the information, with whom we may share it, and the choices available to individuals regarding our use of the information. The Privacy Policy also describes the measures we take to safeguard the personal information, how long we retain the information, and how individuals can contact us about our privacy practices and to exercise their rights.

Information We Obtain

We obtain certain personal information in connection with the services we provide. The types of personal information we obtain include:

  • Contact information, such as name, postal address, email address and telephone number;
  • Payment information, such as name, billing address and payment card details (including card number, expiration date and security code);
  • Booking information and information about travel plans, interests, preferences
  • Demographic information we acquire from third parties
  • From our Preferred Supplier representatives, we collect information such as name, contact information, event attendance, and online chat details if you choose to communicate with us this way.
  • From our vendor representatives, we collect information such as name, contact information, job title, and employer details.

You are not required to provide this information, but if you choose not to do so, we may not be able to offer you certain of our services and answer to your travel requests (getting information from our vendors on our clients’ behalf, holding reservations, finalizing reservations, contacting our vendors representatives etc…). To the extent required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before using your information, confirming a reservation, using your credit card or bank information.

Information We Share

We do not share personal information about you, except as described in this Privacy Policy. We share the personal information we obtain with third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, guides, transportation companies and our vendors in general. These third parties are not authorized by us to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. In addition, we share consumer personal information with Member Agencies and their travel advisors to provide the services you request and with Preferred Suppliers to collaborate on special offers for our clients.

We also may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law, regulation or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena), (ii) in response to requests by government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities, (iii) for the purpose of or in connection with legal proceedings, or otherwise for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending our legal rights, or (iv) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity. We reserve the right to transfer any information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution or liquidation).

Data Transfers

We may transfer the personal information we collect about you to recipients (including third party service providers) in countries other than the country in which the information originally was collected. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. When we transfer your information to recipients in other countries (such as the U.S.), we will protect that information as described in this Privacy Policy and will comply with applicable legal requirements providing adequate protection for the transfer of personal information to recipients in countries other than the one in which you provided the information.

For your convenience and information, our website may contain links to other online services, and may include third-party features such as apps, tools, widgets and plug-ins. These online services and third-party features may operate independently of Gourmet Voyages. The privacy practices of these third parties, including details on the information they may collect about you, is subject to their own privacy policies or notices, which we strongly suggest you review. We are not responsible for the content of any third party online services, any use of those third party services, or the privacy practices of those third party services.

How We Protect Personal Information

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.

Retention of Personal Information

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we retain personal information we obtain about you as long as (1) it is needed for the purposes for which we obtained it, in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our personal information practices. We will post a notice on our websites and/or send you an email to notify you of any significant changes to our Privacy Policy and indicate at the top of the notice when it was most recently updated.

  • Gourmet Voyages has no special knowledge of health hazards such as the risk of contracting Covid-19, either during the client's travel or at the client's destination. For the latest travel health information, the client should review the State Department's website at travel.state.gov and the CDC's information at www.cdc.gov/travel.
  • Gourmet Voyages has no responsibility for Covid-19-related requirements that travel suppliers and governments may impose from time to time, such as health affidavit forms, health screenings prior to departure or upon arrival, face coverings or quarantines. For the latest Covid-19 government travel regulations, the client should review IATA's website at www.iatatravelcentre.com. For the latest travel supplier requirements, check the supplier's homepage. Gourmet Voyages will provide their contact information upon request.
  • Gourmet Voyages has no special knowledge of suppliers' financial condition and no liability for supplier defaults or for recommending future travel credits with suppliers that may be out of business by the time the client tries to use the credits. Gourmet Voyages is not liable for refunds or credits from supplier. In good faith, Gourmet Voyages hires suppliers or books services on behalf of Client, with no knowledge of potential financial failures by suppliers.
  • Gourmet Voyages will assist with obtaining any refunds due or rebooking trips using future credits, but Gourmet Voyages will charge a nonrefundable fee for such services.
  • Gourmet Voyages strongly recommends trip cancellation and medical insurance, but some policies do not protect against cancellation due to pandemics or supplier defaults, so the client must read the policy. Gourmet Voyages recommends "cancel for any reason" coverage, which costs more. Travel insurance information will be provided upon request.
